ABOUT US

“Enriching lives and building stronger families one behavior at a time.”

Equip Behavioral Services uses principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to aid the individual in acquiring essential foundational skills, while decreasing occurrences of disruptive, dangerous, and/or challenging behaviors as we equip the individual, the individual’s family and caregivers with the necessary tools to strengthen and maintain these learned skills that will generalize across all facets of their life. Equip prepares the individuals we serve for independence with their loved ones long after services are discontinued.

Equip embraces the science of human behavior and utilizes evidenced based teaching strategies such as Discrete Training Trials, Behavior Rehearsals and Role-Play, Natural Environment Training, and chaining procedures to promote maximum success by acquisition and mastery of necessary essential skills. Additionally, we program for generalization of newly acquired skills across all the people and environments where they will be used.

To achieve our mission, Equip has created a culture of excellence by only hiring therapists with aspirations to develop and grow within the field of Behavior Analysis and Behavior Analysts who possess superb clinical skills, true passion for helping others, and a commitment to innovation of services and behavioral technology.  Since we highly value quality and innovation, all of our therapist goes through a rigorous training to become Registered Behavior Technicians, while all of our Behavior Analysts comes from reputable ABA programs and are encouraged to attend state and national conferences to ensure that everyone possesses the latest knowledge on the most current behavioral research and technologies.  In addition, we conduct monthly supervision to ensure adequate oversight of current cases as well as a forum to collaborate on effective treatment strategies and discuss new research in the field.
